Japanese Level 1: Basics for Hospitality
Description
This 4-week program will begin by exposing employees to the Japanese culture with a variety of cultural examples and the proper etiquette relating to customer service. Employees will learn practical phrases, greetings, directions and other words and phrases commonly used with guests from Japan. Having a basic understanding of the Japanese language and culture will help employees enhance their ability to provide exceptional quality service to guests from Japan.
Degree, Certificate, or Credential Earned
Professional Development. Students will gain proficiency in recognizing and responding to common Japanese words and phrases as they relate to the Hotel industry, as well as cultural awareness. This program is not designed to teach conversational Japanese
