General Responsibilities

To complete all Bell/Valet Attendant duties, functions,
responsibilities and to effectively communicate with all resort staff to ensure a positive vacation experience for the owners and guest.

Specific Duties

Ensure proper delivery of owner and guest services. Solve owner and guest problems or communicate unsolved problems to Front Services Manager. Complete the Bell/Valet Desk checklist. Notify Front Services Manager of any supplies, inventory, or resources needed to complete your duties and responsibilities. Use proper mail and package handling procedures. Report any unusual occurrences or requests to the Front Services Manager. Comprehend all emergency procedures and accident prevention policies. Maintain cleanliness and professionalism of Bell/Valet Desk area
Driveway, basement and storage. Communicate recommendations to the Front Service Manager that you
believe would improve the skill, efficiency, ability and production of the Bell/Valet Desk. Understand that business demands sometimes make it necessary to move employees from their accustomed shifts to other shifts. Transport owner and guest luggage to and from rooms. Provide a secure area for guests requiring temporary luggage storage. Provide information to owners and guests on resort services, facilities, area locations, and amenities. Help owners and guests load and unload their luggage. Escort owners and guests to the registration desk. Control vehicle traffic flow and safety at the resort entrance. Reserving taxi, shuttles, and other forms of transportation for owners and guests. Parking cars in secure area for owners, guests, and non-guests. Follow parking policies and procedures. Use best driving abilities when retrieving and parking vehicle. Obey state of Hawaii driving laws. Valet must at ALL times have there Hawaii’s Driver’s License on them while driving. Update traffic abstract yearly. Read and initial all posted memos daily. Welcome all guests in a courteous and professional manner.
