Front Services Attendant at Sheraton Maui Hotel
Greets, welcomes residents, guests or patrons of the hotel by providing for their comfort and convenience; opens doors and offers general assistance to guests on arrival or departure; provides assistance to them in entering or leaving a vehicle; helps them with their luggage; secures public or private transportation upon request; furnishes information and directions as requested; prevents entrance of unauthorized or undesirable persons; controls traffic around the front entrance. Provides service to hotel guests/patrons for their comfort and convenience; escorts incoming guests to the front desk and/or guest rooms; delivers registration card.s to the Front Office; delivers daily newspaper, messages and other miscellaneous items as requested by management; delivers and removes guest's luggage; offers information pertaining to available services and facilities of the hotel; controls traffic around the front entrance; properly parks guests vehicles in parking lot or storage garage; locates vehicles and surrenders it to guests or directrs guest to parked vehicle; directs/assists guests, patrons, and employees in double parking their cars; controls the movement and retrieval of double parked cars, ensures the safety and security of keys left in cars. All other duties as assigned.
Specific Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Must be familiar with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel & Word programs). Lightspeed/Galaxy system, Newspaper/Direct system, Math calculations, Money handling skills. Personable and friendly demeanor, team-oriented. Multi-tasking skills. Flexible with hours of the schedule. Must be able to multi-task.
Customer Service experience.
Licenses or Certification
High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.), Drivers License with clear driving history.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds & push/pull 50 pounds.
