Front Services Clerk at Sheraton Maui Hotel
Performs various clerical duties to assist members of the Uniformed Services Department with their duties. Assists hotel guests and other hotel customers by providing information on hotel services. Assists the Door Attendant in providing an excellent experience in the arrival process and ‘first touch’ of hospitality for our guests and patrons. Performs administrative duties to track and record the progress of the bell operation. Supervises the operation in the Porte Cochere and reports to the Arrival Manager. Performs administrative duties to track and record the progress of the valet operation. Assists Door Attendant & Valet Runners with the smooth vehicle flow of the Porte Cochere. Handle cash transactions for valet charges. Has knowledge of hotel and outside services (Operating hours for various hotel services, restaurants or places of interest) that will be of benefit to hotel guests and patrons. Safety awareness of the Porte Cochere and is ready to assist in emergencies, as directed by the Management.
Specific Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Must be familiar with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel & Word programs). Lightspeed/Galaxy system, Newspaper/Direct system, Math calculations, Money handling skills. Personable and friendly demeanor, team-oriented. Flexible with hours of the schedule. Must be able to multi-task.
Customer Service experience.
Licenses or Certification
High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
Must be able to lift 50 pounds & push/pull 50 pounds.
