Teppanyaki Cook at Sheraton Maui Hotel
Prepares and cooks all specialty items; may do preparation work on all specialty items served; works both in the prep kitchen and in the restaurant in front of guests and diners using Teppanyaki cooking style; interacts with customers and other staff in providing table side service. May assist and prepare other specialty hot and cold foods such as sushi or other Japanese style cuisine. All other duties as assigned.
Specific Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Prior experience in Agilysys or StarSource preferred. 1 year previous culinary experience in Teppan cooking preferred.
Licenses or Certification
Culinary certificate or degree from accredited school preferred.
Must be able to at least lift 25 lbs. or more. Push/pull 50 pounds.
