Lead Cook at Sheraton Maui Hotel
Prepares, seasons, and cooks hot sauces, soups and stocks, broth, stews, braised, sauteed and roasted meats, fish and poultry, etc. Substitutes or relieves cooks assigned to junior stations as necessary. May assist in the supervision and/or training of all other Cooks, may be responsible for a particular shop such as the Pastry or Butcher shop; and in the absence of the Executive Chef, may supervise other Cooks. All other duties as assigned.
Specific Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Prior experience in Agilysys or StarSource preferred. 1 year previous culinary experience is preferred and/or 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
Licenses or Certification
Culinary certificate or degree from accredited school preferred.
Must be able to at least lift 25 lbs. or more. Push/pull 50 pounds.
