General Responsibilities

Prepares food and beverage cost data, analysis and reports. Processes all food and beverage invoices and approves for payment; updates all food/beverage requisitions in the Inventory Management System and posts to respective allocation record. Inputs invoices in the Inventory Management System; researches past due and missing invoices; tracks, monitors and posts all credit and returns to the vendors. Audtis invoices and issues requisitions for errors and communicates with accounts payable and storerooms. Handles food/beverage inventories to include the physical taking, costing and extensions. Assists in conducting audits as related to food and beverage operations and performs other clerical and statistical work relating to food/beverage control and storeroom operations.

Specific Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Able to type 45 WPM and use a 10-key adding machine required. Basic Math skills required. Must be proficient in the use of the Agilysys Inventory Management System.


1 to 2 years of Hotel Accounting experience required.

Licenses or Certification

High School Diploma Required, A.A. degree preferred. Must be a Certified Starwood Receiver.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift 25lbs from floor to waist. Must be able to lift 20lbs overhead. Must be able to carry 20lbs with two hands, 10lbs with one hand. Must be able to pull or push with a wheeled cart 25lbs.
